Timeline Wall

is central part of the new permanent exhibition at the Flossenbürg concentration camp memorial site.

On the 18 meters wide wall, 25 monitors display film clips, images and selected texts dealing with the time since the camps liberation. The clips were created from historic footage especially digitalized for this purpose.

In the background, a network of 13+1 computers allows to individually distribute content to each screen as well as to synchro- nize and animate transitions across all 25 monitors.

I worked on »Timeline Wall« as part of a team at Studio WHITEvoid in 2010. Exhibition design by Bertron Schwarz Frey.
