Pommersches Landesmuseum

In 2010, I led a team at Studio WHITEvoid to create 15 media installations for the new permanent exhibition of the State museum of West-Pommerania in Greifswald.

The range coveres analogue exhibits as well as interactive presentations, film editing, creation of custom animations up to time based audio and light shows.

The list of interactive exhibits includes amongst others a touchscreen application to browse 100 digitalized historic maps and an interactive map with detailed information on the fortifications in Pommerania.

A special installation combines a 2x1m CNC milled Corian landscape, laser-equipped goniometers and an embedded touchscreen. This allows to learn hands on about land measuring techniques around 1700.
